TEMPERATURE UNIFORMITY SURVEY, SYSTEM ACCURACY TEST AND MORE

Furnace, autoclave and oven calibration is imperative for ensuring accurate and consistent production and energy efficiency.

This service is a necessity for manufacturers, heat treaters and other businesses that rely on furnace or oven output in daily operations.

A complete furnace calibration is generally performed to calibrate the vacuum & temperature to verify the devices that control and monitor the furnace operational cycles.

VFE provides the full array of furnace calibration services. These services are performed according to NADCAP and AMS 2750E requirements on sites throughout the world:

  • Temperature uniformity survey
  • System accuracy test
  • Temperature controller calibration
  • Vacuum instrument and gauge calibration

CALIBRATION TO MEET AMS 2750E & NADCAP REQUIREMENTS

Furnace calibration to strict requirements is a necessity for heat treatment suppliers to the aerospace industry. Pyrometry requirements per specification AMS 2750E mandate the calibration process for temperature sensors, instrumentation, thermal processing equipment, system accuracy tests and temperature uniformity surveys for ovens and furnaces used in the global aerospace and commercial heat treating industries.

Accredited calibration

Thanks to the acquisition of AIC Service, and as part of a Routine Service Plan, VFE can now carry out UKAS accredited calibration for most process equipment.
Temperature calibration, whether it is for industry traceability (eg aerospace), ISO 9000, or ISO17025 accreditation or for other internal quality systems, is essential to ensure the production of a quality product at maximum efficiency. VFE will calibrate temperature, pressure, vacuum, humidity, electrical and other physical properties.
