SERVICE NOW. AVOID EQUIPMENT DOWNTIME LATER
We’re in challenging times both personally and commercially and it’s important to remember that we will beat Covid-19.
A number of our clients have suspended production and their machines are standing idle. They want to be ready to resume full production as soon as it’s safe to do so without any servicing down-time over the coming months. They have therefore asked if we can service their equipment safely at this time.
We’ve listened and responded quickly. We have put in place a comprehensive suite of actions to ensure VFE can service our clients’ equipment in a way that’s safe both for their staff and VFE’s team of 42 Field Service Engineers.
We recognise that one size doesn’t fit all and so have developed a range of options. All solutions will feature the same basic starter package which includes:
• Social distancing at all times of 2m
• Hand sanitiser, gloves and face masks
• Working areas cordoned off
• The use of separate refreshment facilities and break area
• All communications via telephone/email/video call
• Goods transfer table.
However, every client’s situation is different. We’ve therefore designed a range of incremental actions which we can deploy where required including:
• Portable toilet and wash facility
• Heras fencing with plastic sheeting
• Onsite mobile workshop
• Meeting additional customer requirements.
We will of course remain flexible and add other actions where required.
